Mission of the Wellness Center
We have developed the Wellness Center with the intention of improving our ability to promote and provide alternative, complementary, and integrative health offerings from a centralized location. The rehabilitation of this building into the Wellness Center will benefit the community in these ways:
*Provide professional office space for health practitioners and wellness-oriented businesses and organizations, which would then offer their services or products to the public;
*Provide an activities room for yoga classes, functions and gatherings that support health and fitness in our community such as blood drives, workshops and seminars focused on health, music, dance, art, and more;
*Rejuvenate a building in our historic downtown area and provide jobs. Our services support the wellness of individuals and the revitalization of our town.
Our upcoming events include: *Free Friday, Friday, June 25, 2010, 7-8 pm. Educate the public and offer your services the last Friday of every month. A great networking, educational and advertising outlet. *Lavender Festival, Saturday, June 26 from 10 am to 3 pm. Jen is the host and will be donating partial proceeds to HHWA.
