About Us

"It’s amazing what we can do when we come together for something we collectively love."

our history

Mission Statement:The mission of the Huntingdon Health and Wellness Association is to enhance the health and well being of individuals and the community through the promotion of alternative, complementary, and integrative health care and wellness initiatives.

We are a nonprofit group dedicated to cultivating experiences and partnerships that inspire, educate, and empower individuals to engage in a healthy lifestyle.

As a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, the corporation is formed solely for charitable and educational purposes.

Twelve years ago when I first joined the Board, we were just a group of people with a vision.  The next decade was spent developing programs that helped community members to deal with health issues like stress, aches, eating disorders, and pain.  We have tried everything from street festivals to meditation gatherings.  Anything that can help our neighbors deal with health problems, is a worthy cause.  We have evolved over the many years to become a small group of very caring people, but without the support of our community none of the progress would have been possible. Especially to all of those devoted over the years to keeping our dreams alive - officers and donors, members and visitors, friends and clients.

Thanks for the support that’s made it all possible!
